Epping Market
The Victorian Department of Development Economic Jobs and Resources originally refused our request for the most recent Epping Market Kangaroo management plan on the basis that they were still in draft form. ASK took this to the Victorian Information Commissioner who ruled against DEDJR and forced them to provide the document to ASK. This process has allowed us to keep track of the Epping Market kangaroos and their fate under this state government. According to the KMP they still plan to shoot them but this does not appear to have happened as yet and no new permits have been issued to kill the Epping kangaroos since our volunteers halted the shooting in August 2017.
